Sage & Lavender
β€οΈπΎ Did someone say kittens?? Coming right up!
Lavender (grey female) and Sage (grey & white female) are 17 week old littermates looking for their forever families. These little ladies are spayed, current on vaccinations and FelV/FIV negative. Lavender and Sage are available for adoption as a pair or may be adopted separately into homes that already have a young cat in need of a friend.
Both Sage and Lavender are fantastic kitties but Lavender (Lavvy, as we like to call her) is a little extra special. We are working on getting a firm diagnosis but she most likely9 has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) which causes her to be "wobbly" and fall over sometimes. CH is not a painful condition and it does not worsen or progress over time. A home with knowledge or experience with cats with CH is a plus but we are happy to educate, provide guidance and support to the right home. Bringing a kitten with CH into your home doesn't really require anything extraordinary. Taking a few precautions around the house is generally all that's needed.
Adoption fee for one kitten is $250.00 and $400.00 for two. Interested in meeting these kitty kiddos? Please send an email to: Nkascats@gmail.com or call us at: 401-910-8999 πΎβ€οΈ
Paddy
πΎπ Meet Paddy, a young (approximately one year old) male cat in need of a patient, supportive home where he can continue to learn that people can be trusted and can also be great fun! In case you're wondering, no, Paddy has not been abused to the best of our knowledge. As far we know, he spent his first year of life as an outdoor cat without a caretaker, finding food however he could and so adjusting to life indoors with people frequently in and around his space, hasn't been easy for him.
In the bustling world of the shelter, Paddy remains rather shy and reserved, often retreating to a quiet corner to observe the world from a safe distance. His demeanor is one of cautious curiosity, and he uses his defensiveness as a shield against the unknown. However, since his arrival at the shelter we have observed him hiding less and letting himself be more and more visible, progressing to allowing his closest human friends to pet him, even rolling over and exposing his tummy. Paddy has also shown some interest in meeting other feline residents at the shelter.
Despite his initial fears, Paddy has a lot to offer. He seeks a patient and loving home where he can flourish and share his gentle love. Adopting Paddy means giving him a chance to feel secure and cherished in a forever home. Please give us a call or email if you would like to meet this special guy ππΎ

Summer
Meet Summer, a young, shy, yet curious cat in need of a home. Summer was found living outside and some good samaritans realized she appeared to be pregnant and called to get some help for her. And that help came just in time. About one week later Summer gave birth to a litter of kittens! Summer was a great mom to her babies and now that they no longer need her to take care of them, she is ready to find her own home and start her new life!
Summer is somewhat shy and reserved, especially when meeting someone new. She was initially much more timid but has made progress and we're confident she will continue to come out of her shell in a home that let's her progress at her own pace. Summer is 1 to 2 years old, current on vaccinations and is Felv/FIV negative. She is friendly with the other cats at the shelter but does not appear to like dogs. Summer would do best in an adult home that's relatively calm and quiet.
Adopt Summer and discover the rewarding journey of watching her blossom in a loving home.

Abby
Meet Abby, a young and delightful cat in need of a new home. Her friendly demeanor makes her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a new furry friend. Abby enjoys spending her days playing lounging on cozy beds and happily "talking" to her caregivers. Abby has lived with male cats (who are also at the shelter and available for adoption). She has not lived with female cats, dogs or young children as far as we know.
Abby is approximately 2 years old, spayed, current on vaccinations and FelV/FIV negative.

Pepper
πΆπΎ Meet Pepper! Pepper is a female young adult cat with a beautiful, unique coat and an even more unique personality. Pepper was found as a stray with her two kittens who have since been adopted, and now she's also ready for her forever home! Pepper is the kind of cat who likes to pet you; with a familiar person, she will rub her face all over your hands with affection. In case you were wondering, yes, she can be a bit spicy at times. While she is still working through her feelings here at the shelter, we have no doubt that with a calm, patient, loving home, she will bloom into the sweetest Pepper there is. Pepper would like a relatively quieter home with adults and potentially older, cat-savvy children who will respect her space. We do not know if Pepper has ever lived with other cats or with dogs. If you would like to give this sweet girl a loving home, please email nkascats@gmail.com or give us a call at: 401-910-8999 πΎπΆ
